damn this is so interesting that this made it to my recommendations. i used to work with chris fronz a lot on his guest vocals and vocals for like pre-production on a bunch of records. nicest dude i've ever worked with in the punk/metalcore scene easily. literally didn't drink at all when i was with him. maybe saw him drink one beer ever. never talked about women. talked about his son and gf/wife a lot at the time. honestly, very polar opposite to his brand. which is definitely not what i expected. very cool/sweet person in real life. idk if me being straight edge had anything to do with how he was around me but he felt very genuinely nice and warm. not a single bad vibe from him. also have no idea what he's like on tour, this is just my experience with him.

OH my gosh! When I was in 7th grade, I went to one of his NSN concerts with a couple of my friends. He was smoking a ciggy on stage and I didn’t think too much of it (my parents, grandparents, etc smoked ciggies), but at the end of the show, it was all the girlies were talking about. 😂 “Ugh it breaks my heart that he was smoking on stage, he is so much better than this!!” So funny in hindsight

Bro I still bump RAGE and Outlawed to this day, their stuff immediately afterwards was okay, About That Life used too many hip hop elements but I still liked it.

I can guarantee they didn’t make it up. I grew up with this band. 2008-2010 was a wild time. The iPhone was barely a thing. Times were different and scene kids loved the band. I remember going on a senior cruise and missing the show with Blood, Brokencyde, and Jeffery. When I got back to the U.S, my friends who attended the show told me Davii got a BJ from a teen girl in the girls car before the show. I have many stories about the band and while times were different, Davii and Jay were both child predators.

My favorite band from 7th grade to 9th grade. Now mostly listen for nostalgia but Dance or Die is still a really solid album.

Late April 2024, the band's Instagram showed a preview of a song from their completed album. Looks like they're coming back, like Cassadee Pope! It'd be awesome if they either did a collab, or a modern edition of their joint version of Take My Hand.

Patrick Stump producing Whisper War is why I think I love that album so much. I really like Patrick's musicality.

Huh- interesting hearing about both before and after I popped in at Dance or Die and their origins. They had a thing and they were rocking it! I always loved their song "How In The World" since high school, the lyric "How in the world- did I find someone like you?" is so sweet 😊 22:40 straight up sounding like the Beastie Boys I love it!

Thanks for bringing these guys back up! I'm pretty sure Soul Glow is a producer nowadays, but you never know. Maybe they will get back together at some point. They had quite the cult following for a while there. Really good stuff!
